Final Post

PE this year has been fun, tough, and has taught me lots. I have learned ways you can stay fit and healthy on your own time, for example going for runs around your neighborhood daily and recording your pace. Some days in PE have also been fun like when it's a normal PE day and not a fitness day. An example would be like when we go outside to play capture the flag, or hide-and-seek tag, or even dodgeball in the gym. I enjoy doing activities like that because thats when you dont have to run continuously and you can have fun. I have done lots of fitness activities along the way as well. Some examples include the beep test. The beep test is a simple run to one side of the gym to the other but every beep, the speed increases. Here is a score of my last beep test.
During these kind of fitness tests I really work hard. Always sweat dripping down my red face, huffing and puffing, and my legs feel all heavy. One thing that I have learned about PE is that it's not just about being a good athlete, or scoring lots of goals in hockey, it's about leadership, participation, and being a good role model. Ways to do this are, help put equipment away when not being used, leading others to make good choices, or even helping set up for activities. After everything that I have learned, I think that my final grade should reflect on an A because I do what Im supposed to do and focus more towards helping than being the greatest athelete in the class. I demonstrate good behaviour and help others when needed. An example would be when I helped my friend put the equipment that he was using away after he was done. Anyways, this is what I personally think that my last and final mark for PE should reflect on.

  1. Great post and a solid year Kaylem. For next year let's make posting to the blog a more regular thing. The recording will keep you on track and focused on what you have written here as your goals. Have a good summer. :)
